Flying Lotus - Sao Paulo

Just cracked on 1983 for the first time in quite a while to try and get me through the night.

Such a beauty. The beats are a bit sandy, but not in a bad way…sounds rougher than L.A and a lot rougher than Cosmogramma…but….

James Blake - Curbside

This James Blake would win in a fight cause he has a fucking tennis racquet. Look how angry he is.

Both as a standalone single and a piece of James Blake’s catalog, “Curbside” is entirely, idiosyncratically unclassifiable.

-Larry Fitzmaurice (Pitchfork)

One of Pitchfork’s better reviews up today on Jimmy B’s Love What Hapenned Here EP that dropped a month or so ago on R&S.

I’ve been a fan of Love What Hapenned Here for a while… but Curbside sounds absolutely out of this world.

In a good way.

Caribou - Sea Rea

From his 2010 tour CD

It’s bananas. Getit.

If you don’t get it listen to the fucking song.

Bibio - The Palm of your Wave (Bibio Remix)

Yes he remixed his own song, but it is better for it.

This remix is from ‘The Apple and the Tooth’, but his Warp debut Ambivalence Avenue is one of my favourite albums, and is well worth checking out.

Top 5 Bibio songs:

5) Haikuesque (When She Laughs) - Ambivalence Avenue

4) Take off your Skirt - Take of your shirt single

3) Pretentious - Mind Bokeh

2) Fire Ant - Ambivalence Avenue

1) Jealous of the Roses - Ambivalence Avenue

Teebs - Verbena Tea ft. Rebekah Raff

Relatively new release from Brainfeeder artist/dreamy beatmaker.

Sounding great, reminds me of bits of Shlohmo’s Bad Vibes, but with more harp, less misery.

Good stuff to come I hope x

DJ Shadow - Midnight in a perfect world

Can’t stay away, tumblr’s pretty neat.

It’s a shame he never really bested this, but I have a lot of respect for this guy. Live show last month was staggering. Worth a little dream to regardless x

James Blake - Unluck

Seems appropriate to start with this.

If I keep this up to date, it will just be some great music

Merry Christmas x
